Full Description
Disused 19th century lime kiln with associated features on Limekiln Hill. It is rectangular in lan and built of coursed stone. The front face is 5m tall and contains a pointed draw arch. The pot is circa 2m in diameter and brick-lined, with a poking hole visible in the base. The remains of the quarry supplying the kiln ar visible as a depressed area to the North-West. <1>
