Listed Building record MDO11206 - Star House, 53 East Street, Blandford Forum

Mid eighteenth century building with north front altered in nineteenth century. Upper part has been stuccoed, lower part is of red brick. It has a tiled mansard roof with a large nineteenth century gable.

The Star Inn, although remodelled at the end of the 19th century, contains elements of an 18th century building. It is of two storeys and attics, with a tiled mansard roof and large 19th century gable. The upper part overhangs a lower part of red brick, and the north front has been built out to form a wide bay in the centre with splayed ends. <2-3>
