Summary

Former corn mill of about 1800, with brick walls, and a tiled roof with a slate eaves course. The tall square brick chimney on the west side was probably added when water wheel replaced by later machinery.

Full Description

(SU 00850064) Walford Mill, of three storeys with brick walls and tiled roofs, is of circa 1800. Originally a water-powered corn mill, the former water-wheel has been replaced by modern machinery. <1>
