Full Description
Early 19th century house, built as a terrace with No. 53 East Street to the east. It is of three storeys and cellars with brick walls and slate roof. Sash windows. A balcony with cast iron balustrade at first floor level, a string at second-floor level and a cornce and parapet. Inserted modern shopfront on ground floor. <1>
Colour washed brick. Stone cornice and moulded string. 3 storeys and basement. 4 ranges of sashes with glazing bars. Continuous balcony with cast iron balustrade supported on brackets. Shop and bay window inserted into No 55. <4>
