Summary
Possible seventeenth century or earlier house but enlarged and extensively altered in the twentieth century. Built of coursed rubble, timber framing and render with a thatched, half-hipped roof with rendered stacks possibly at the ends of an original range. Picturesque, 'half-timbered' restoration. Twentieth century wooden mullioned casements with diamond leaded-lights throughout.

‘(58) House (78091340), 75 yds. W. of (54), is single-storied with attics and has walls of rubble and timber-framing, and thatched roofs. Parts of the house are probably of 17th-century origin but it has been enlarged and extensively remodelled in modern times, using old materials.’
