'The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (13) Manor Farm, house 360 yards E. of the church (Plate 40), has a rather later range at the back. It retains most of its original stone-mullioned windows, those on the ground floor with moulded labels; the front doorway has moulded jambs, square head and label.'
