Full Description

<1>

Church of St Andrew Millhams Lane (formerly listed under Millham Road, Kinson). SZ 06 96. Probably late 12th century tower; late 13th century chancel. Nave and aisles entirely of 1893-5, North-East vestry 19th century. <2>

Tower of ironstone rubble with ironstone dressings, unbuttressed with 2 set-offs, probably late 12 century, flat-headed lancet windows to ground floor deeply splayed, pair of flat- headed belfry windows, chamfered pointed arch without capitals to nave. Nave and aisles, 3 gables, entirely of 1893-5: Decorated style, aisle windows flat-headed, 3-bay arcade double-chamfered on octagonal piers (plus short eastern bay), clerestory of quatrefoils. Chancel of Purbeck rubble and dressings with some ironstone rubble, late 13th century: 3-light east window with Victorian plate tracery on old mullions, side windows flat-headed with renewed trefoiled lights. Chancel arch late 13th century, without capitals. North-east vestry 19th century.
