Part of a three-storey stucco-fronted terrace of houses built around 1850-60 in Italianate style, comprising Nos 6-34 Poole Hill. The house retains its original residential entrance with Tuscan porch up steps.

Full Description

Part of an Italianate stucco terrace, circa 1850-60, stepping up hill, comprising Nos 6-34 Poole Hill. No 12 retains original residential entrances with Tuscan porch up steps. Each house is three storeys and three windows wide, except for the central three which are five windows wide, including No 12. The first floor windows are connected by a thin stringcourse on consoles, breaking over centre window of each house as triangular pediment. Main cornice survives on Nos 6-10 and 14-16, roofs recessed behind parapet. Rear also stucco, with many extensions. No 34, set back slightly, has asymmetrical 2-storey canted bay to upper floors.
