Summary

St Mary Magdalene, formerly listed as "The Fountain". An eighteenth century house largely rebuilt in the twentieth century, a detached cottage with cob and concrete block range.

Full Description

Two cottages, SU 01310606 and SU 01340604, both single storeyed with attics and thatched roofs; casement windows and brick stacks. The eastern cottage is timber framed, 17th century with modern additions. The other is 18th century. <1>

'(9) Cottage (01310606), of one storey with an attic, has cob walls on a brick plinth, and a thatched roof; it is of the the late 18th century. The plan is of class T and the N. front is symmetrical and of three bays. One room has a chamfered beam with shaped stops.'
