Full Description
(1) '(67) LYNCHETS, on an E. slope in the extreme S. corner of the parish.'
A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on slopes to the west of Mapperton Farm (2-3). They are considered to be of medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
