Summary

Swanage Town Hall built in 1882 to the designs of G Crickmay. It incorporates the front of the Mercers' Hall, from Cheapside in London which had been designed by Edward Jarman in 1668 and brought to Swanage by George Burt. The main building of Purbeck Stone, whilst the Mercers' Hall front is of Portland Stone.
