Monument record MDO1902 - Bowl barrow in Dole's Hill Plantation, Piddlehinton

A bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 65 feet in diameter with a mound around 4 feet high. The site of a Bronze Age round barrow is marked on the OS first edition map within Dole's Hill Plantation, Piddlehinton. It is visible as an extant earthwork on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
