A Fishpond (remains of) is delineated on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 25 inch map of Christchurch (dated 1870). Possibly the remains of a Christchurch priory fishpond (1). Also shown on the second edition OS map (2)

A lost charter of King Eadred to Dunster in 954 was for two hides and a fishery (3).
