Photograph in Weymouth Museum labelled 'Weymouth Harbour looking towards Commercial Road 1949' Clammer,R. 2001 'Cosens of Weymouth' p112. Referring to 1947 "Large quantities of the finest teak were recovered from the former steam yacht Florinda which had originally been owned by Lilly Langtry and had spent the war years as an accommodation ship at Poole and Portland. Cosens bought her and stripped her of all useful materials before selling her remains on to a local man who broke her up on the mud outside Weymouth Fire Station.
