Summary
A lime kiln recorded as ‘Limekiln’ on the first edition and ‘Old limekiln’ on the second edition Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
