Full Description
Railway station on the Swanage branch line, opened in 1885. Although closed to regional traffic in 1972, it remains open as part of a private line run by a preservation society. The station comprises the station master's house with cross-wing at the south end, booking hall at the centre and waiting rooms at the north end. Victorian Gothic style. <2>
