SY 539897. Six medieval strip fields aligned N-S with dividing balks and a mere stone occur NE of Puncknowle. <1>

'Medieval field remains survive in fragments in several parts of the parish: … c. N.E. of the village, at 539897, are 6 strips aligned N-S with dividing balks and a mere stone. (VAP 1821: 3310).'
