Monument record MDO2360 - Quarr Lane, Sherborne; possible civil war burial

Many years ago, a burial was uncovered in the quarry north of Quarr lane near a shed . It was reburied nearby. Rumour says “lead bullet in the skull”.

Mapped as a point on Quarr Lane, there were at least two quarries with sheds north of this lane.
