A 14th century bronze heraldic pendant was found during a house conversion in Long Street, Sherborne. The pendant measured 32mm long and 25mm wide with an unidentified enammelled coat of arms. [1][2]

The grid reference for this find falls on Cedar Cottage on the north side of Long Street. This cottage is marked on the 1st edition OS map but is not listed and its actual age is unknown. It is not clear from the information provided whether Cedar cottage is the house in question or one of its neighbours.
