Full Description

A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Portesham Withy Beds {1-2}. The field system may be prehistoric or medieval in origin and may be associated with the Roman occuaption site described in MDO2072. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project
