Full Description
A sub-square hollow, measuring approximately 13 x 13 meters, is visible as an earthwork and a cropmark on aerial photographs {1-3}. Its date and function are uncertain, but it is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval extractive pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project
