Full Description
Two pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1-2}. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval extractive pits. Alternatively thay could be shake holes of a natural origin. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
