The sites of four small extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on LiDAR imagery {1} on the crest of the hill to the north-west of Redland Farm. The features are considered likely to be post medieval origin although an earlier origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
