An 'Old Quarry' is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Coombe Valley, Chalbury. The extensive area of quarrying is visible as earthworks and LiDAR imagery {1-2} and may be of medieval or post medieval origin.
The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
