Two extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1}. They are considered likely to be post medieval in date and are probably associated with the lime kiln remains (MDO2111) that lie just to the south west. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
