Full Description

A mound is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs {1} and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. It measures approximately 11.8m in diameter, with a surrounding outer ditch around 1.3m in width. The date and function of this feature are uncertain; it is considered likely to be the remains of a Bronze Age bowl barrow.
