Full Description
A linear feature, possibly WWII slit trenching, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Chesters Hill {1-2}. It is situated within the Abbotsbury Defence which was defended by the 6th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
