Full Description
Two bowl barrows on Cross Hill. That to the west is 57 feet in diameter by 3 feet high, the other 39 feet in diameter by 1 foot high. <1-2>
Two grass-covered bowl barrows prominently sited on a small spur. Both are much spread by ploughing and have no visible ditches. ST 62261067. Diameter 26.0m, height 0.8m … Surveyed at 1:2500. <4>

The barrow is visible as a sub-oval 17.2m by 13m earthwork within a sub-rectangular grassed area left clear of ploughing on a 1995 aerial photograph <6>. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
