Full Description

This [earthwork] lies about 80 metres south east of Enclosure 1. It consists of a rectangle with straight sides seventeen by ten by metres. The bank is of similar proportions to Enclosure 1 (MDO26285), and also has no apparent ditch. On the northern side there is a gap, perhaps an entrance, opening onto a level area which runs to the edge of the quarry ditch, with which it may have been associated. [1]

A sub-rectangular enclosure, approximately 16.6m x 11.9m, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (2) and was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is one of a group of similar features located along the cliff here at White Nothe (MDO26285-86 & MDO29330).
