'The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century; the walls are of stone and the roofs are thatched. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (15) Cottage, on the W. side of the road 130 yards S. of the church, has cob-walls.' {1}
