Full Description

East of the road there are long parallel strips of rig and furrow with a tendency to form platforms set slightly one above the other. This area was partly under tall grass and was not fully investigated.

West of the road, and under short grass, are a series of long, parallel and pronounced platforms similar to strip lynchets but with very slight parallel hollows. In view of the adjoining area it seems probably that they originated as rig and furrow ploughing. <3>
