Full Description
A curvilinear Late Iron Age gully was recorded during excavations by Wessex Archaeology on the former James Brothers site, Blandford Road, Hamworthy in 2008-9 and may represent the remains of a former ring gully, perhaps representing a round house. A single posthole was also noted in this area, but no other structural remains were identified. The curvilinear gully was cut by some Late Iron Age and Roman ditches. It measured 4.8 m long, 0.34 m deep and only 0.09 m deep..
