Ditched bowl. 90ft. in diam and 4.5ft. high. {1}

The site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs {2}. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

This barrow was 25 paces in diameter and 3 feet in height. <1>

Three round barrows north of Bincombe Hill: (B) Ditched bowl (?) (68748496) 46 yds. North-North-West of
(A). Diameter 90ft. height 4 1/2ft. <2>

Three probably bowl barrows: 'B' SY 68748496. Diameter 25.0m., height 1.2m. No visible ditch. All in arable - at present under pasture. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
