A Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 in the intertidal zone to the east of Lilliput Pier. The crater is visible as sub-circular depression measuring 19 m in diameter. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
