Full Description
A possible late Prehistoric field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the west of Avon Run Road, Christchurch. The boundary is visible as a bank, oriented north west-south east and measuring 55 m in length. (1) The area has now been built over. The boundary may be associated with a area of late Prehistoric field boundaries located to the north east (see MDO28800). This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
