Full Description
A line of Second World War beach scaffolding is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1945 to the south of Southbourne Coast Road and extending to the east on the southern coastline of Hengistbury Head to White Pits. The scaffolding is visible in four sections which cover a total distance of approximately 1120 m. (1-4) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
