Full Description
A probable Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 to the south east of the Double Dykes. The pit is sub-circular and measures 5 m in diameter. (1) This site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
