Full Description
A circular depression, approximately 12.9m in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs in scrubland just south of Maranoa Slepe Farm (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War activities in this area. It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). This feature is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2).
