An area of post medieval or early modern trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1920s within Studland Wood adjacent to the Foreland or Handfast Point. The trackways are oriented approximately north-south and are visible over an area measuring 330 m by 80 m. (1) The site is under tree cover on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
