An area of Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s on Old Nick's Ground, Studland. The craters are sub-circular and measure approximately 2 m in diameter. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 110 m by 142 m. (1) The craters are located around a possible Second World War gun post (see MDO29057). This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
