Full Description

Medieval or post medieval ridge cultivation ridges are visible as earthworks on recent lidar imagery to the north west of Blackers Hole, Langton Matravers. A block of ridge and furrow, flanked by field boundaries, is visible over an area measuring 140 m by 60 m. The ridges are oriented north west-south east. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
