A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on recent lidar imagery to the south east of Cuckoo Pound. The quarry is located on limestone and measures approximately 24 m by 11 m. (1-2) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
