A probable Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1942 to the south west of Cuckoo Pound. The crater is sub-circular and surrounded by a bank of spoil. It measures 7 m in diameter. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
