Full Description
Four possible post medieval to modern extractive pits, or Second World War bomb craters, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of 1951 immediately to the east of Cuckoo Pound. The earthworks consist of sub-circular and sub-rectangular pits, surrounded by banks of spoil. They measure between approximately 8 m by 8 m and 6 m by 3 m.
