Full Description

Two possible Second World War fox holes are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Peveril Point, Swanage. The pits are sub-rectangular and surrounded by banks of spoil. One of the pits had a short length of bank extending from it to the north. The pits measure between 5 m by 4 m and 5 m by 2 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
