Full Description
A group of four dispersed pits are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of West Bottom, Chaldon Down (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of chalk pits associated with post-medieval activities in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
