A wide linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of cliff on the western side of Lulworth Cove. It is of uncertain date and function. It may be associated with the post medieval firing range that is marked here on the first and second editions of the OS map (MWX3984).

A wide linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of cliff on the western side of Lulworth Cove (1). It is of uncertain date and function. It may be associated with the post medieval firing range that is marked here on the first and second editions of the OS map (MWX3984). This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
