A hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Little Bindon (1). It is considered likely this could be the remains of a medieval or post medieval extractive pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images availabel to the project.
