Full Description
A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow perched on top of the Neolithic long barrow SY 68 NE 72, towards the latters larger north eastern end. Listed by RCHME as Whitcombe 8 and by Grinsell as Whitcome 8, the bowl barrow was described by the Ordnance Survey in 1979 as a mound 21.5 metres in diameter and 2.8 metres high. <1-3>
