A pair of probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as sub-circular earthworks on aerial photographs dating from 1942 of Hamworthy, Poole. (1) They both measure approximately 12m in diameter. The craters are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project.(2/3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
